Local veterinarians and businesses act as satellite adoption centers for the Guelph Humane Society.

Each takes in and showcases one or more of our adoptable pets at a time, thus increasing the visibility of some of our animals who are in need of good homes.

Adoption Fees as of December 2014

Cats or Kittens - $229.56 (includes taxes)
This fee includes over $350 in services, including:

  • spay or neuter
  • vaccinations - age appropriate/up to date
  • rabies vaccine for all pets 4 months of age or older
  • deworming
  • cardboard carrier
  • collar and cat identification tag
  • bath
  • microchip identification implant
  • 6 weeks of OSPCA Pet Insurance
  • applicable taxes

Dogs or Puppies - $274.80 (includes taxes)
This fee includes over $400 in services which include:

  • spay or neuter
  • vaccinations - age appropriate/up to date
  • rabies vaccine for all pets 4 months of age or older
  • deworming
  • bath
  • microchip identification implant
  • 6 weeks of OSPCA Pet Insurance
  • applicable taxes

Budgies, Finches, Canaries, Doves - $20.00 or 2 for $30 (includes taxes)

Lovebirds, Cockatiels - $25.00 or 2 for $35 (includes taxes)

Rabbits if spayed/neutered - $150 (includes taxes)
